This is one of the Countdown to the Millennium series,This pin shows The Lion King Red Square pin with Mufasa and a young Simba on his head. The Lion King is written on the top and 1994 is written along the bottom of the pin. The back is Mickey Icon Heads pattern and stamped ©Disney FOTOBALL MADE IN CHINA PIN #24 of 101
This set was Disney's first real attempt at a pin collection series, and coincided with the beginnings of pin trading during the Millennium Celebration at Walt Disney World This series also represents one of Disney's first major pin goofs, as boxes and boxes of these pins remained in storage after the end of the sale. many were shipped for sale or cast lanyards at the parks. The only pin which actually sold out was the #101 Walt and Mickey.
