Chip 'N' Dale as Ewoks This addition to the series of Star Wars Medium Big Figures (MBF) is very rare that it was autographed by the Star Wars actor WARWICK DAVIS who played Wicket Wystri Warwick the Ewok from The Forrest Moon of Endor in "Star Wars Episode VI : Return of the Jedi". This exciting addition of Chip 'N' Dale as Ewoks as the previous MBF is a limited edition of only 1977 (which is the year the first Star Wars film was release). It comes with a large pin of Chip 'N' Dale as Ewok characters in its base. This is figure is very unique with historical significance making it especially important item to all Star Wars, Disney and Star Wars Weekends fans, attendees and collectors. Disney announced in 2015 at D-23 the end of Star Wars mash up figures and logos and character greetings. This was the fun part of each Star Wars Weekends which we understand is also quietly laid to rest and Star Wars Weekends 2015 was the last year of the MOST popular Disney special event in all of its history. This Ewok mash up figurine was signed during the Star Wars Weekend 2015 event. Wicket/ Warwick Davis autographed it and wrote on its base Star Wars Weekends 2015 (the last and final Star Wars Weekends event). We have good reason to believe in the future there will no longer be anymore Star Wars celebrities autograph sessions in any future events. With no more mash up figures and no more Star Wars Weekends or celebrities autograph sessions this increases the uniqueness and therefore its desirability to any collector now and in the future. The deeper effect of new order star wars In addition it seems likely that Disney going forward, will focus on and promote a different agenda with characters they have and will invent. This will most likely reform the Star Wars franchise as it will be using the movies and animation series characters which they invented and which will be designed to promote the Disney world view which will most help the corporation in their world concepts for the future. As an example on the Force Awakens poster George Lucas is not given credit at all for anything as his name is absent. This will most likely make the George Lucas's Classic Star Wars characters, from the original trilogy and the actors autographs and character figures increasingly rare as time goes on. It is the end of the creative genius of the George Lucas Star Wars era. Included with this Autographed Chip 'N' Dale as Ewoks Medium Big Fig *Warwick Davis has a BIG acting career and personality for a short person. Playing main roles in movies like Willow and the Leprechaun series and well known for his roles in the Star Wars Episode l: The Phantom Menace where he played 4 characters ~ Yoda (in some of the scenes where Yoda is walking), Wald (Young Anakin's Rodian Buddy), Weazel (A gambler sitting next to Watto at the Podrace) and an unnamed Mos Espa extra (when Jar Jar, Qui-Gon, and Padme first enter the city) and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi as the hero Wicket W. Warrick the Ewok (which he reprized the role of Wicket in Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor. We are very much looking forwards to his character/s for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. Some of his other well known characters are Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook in the Harry Potter movies, also Warwick was in the television adaptation of the classic The Chronicles of Narnia's Prince Caspian as Reepicheep and Nikabrik and in The Silver Chair as Glimfeather. And Marvin the paranoid android in the film "The Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy". *Star Wars and Star Tours are copyrights and trademarks of Disney/ LucasFilm |
