Autographed by The original design concept from the illustration Special Star Wars Weekends 2013 Comes with other bonuses including: Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of "Star Wars Vi: Return of the Jedi" This "Donald as Boba Fett" medium big figurine sculpture sold out and is very unique with historical significance making it especially important item to all Star Wars, Disney and Star Wars Weekends fans, attendees and collectors. For years after the start of Star Wars Weekends Disney artists wanted to create Star Wars and Disney character mash up illustrations and action figures but could not as they needed George Lucas's permission, eventually they received his permission. And this Star Wars mash up medium big figurine sculpture was personally approved by George Lucas for production. Shortly after that Disney purchased LucasFilm Ltd. After Disney's purchase of LucasFilm, ironically in 2015 at D-23 Disney announced they were ending the combo or mash up Disney Star Wars figures and illustrations, etc. and no longer would permit them in the parks. From what we understand it made Star Wars fun and the new executives at Lucas thought they were not "serious enough". So we have come full circle now with LucasFilm deciding what Disney does with regards to Star Wars. This Disney Star Wars Weekends "Donald as Boba Fett" medium big figurine sculpture now is retired in so many ways. In addition the announcement August 2015 by Disney of the end of Star Wars mash ups including figures, logos, illustrations and characters and with the official termination of the Star Wars Weekends announced November 9th, 2015 that makes this Disney Star Wars Mash Up medium big figurine sculpture "Donald as Boba Fett" released during Star Wars Weekends rare (an historical figure so to speak) with no more mash ups and no more Star Wars Weekends that makes this "Donald as Boba Fett" autographed during one of the FINAL Star Wars Weekends events rare and a very unique medium big figurine sculpture. Jeremy Bulloch autographed it and wrote "Star Wars Weekends 2014" which makes it very rare and increased its special uniqueness, value and therefore it's desirability to any Star Wars, Disney or Star Wars Weekends attendee or collector now and into the future. The deeper effect of new order star wars In addition our prediction of 2012 has come true, it is evident Disney and LucasFilms, which controls the new Star Wars film franchise, changed Star Wars focus to promote a different more financially profitable agenda using characters they have and will invent thus avoiding any trademark issues. This reformed the Star Wars franchise at Disney Co. as it used the movies and animation series characters they invent and which are designed to promote new LucasFilms Ltd and Disney world globalist view which will most help their corporation with the world concepts effecting the bottom line in the future. This most increased demand and value for the George Lucas's Classic Star Wars character items each one personally approved by him, from the original 2 trilogies and those with the original Star Wars actors' autographs and mash up action figures and medium big figurine sculptures, cels, prints, posters and illustrations etc from historic Star Wars Weekends. The legends of the specialness of this ultimate magical event for Star Wars fans who made the pilgrimage to attend from all over the world to Walt Disney World Star Wars Weekends to meet one on one with the actors in person will surely grow as time passes and the availability of items from the Lucas Disney Star Wars Weekends 2000-2015 events will become increasingly rare. It marks the end of both the creative genius of the George Lucas Star Wars era and the magical Disney Star Wars Weekends era too. This figure is from both the George Lucas Star Wars era and the amazing Disney Star Wars Weekends events era. "Donald as Boba Fett" was personally approved by George Lucas. That was before he sold LucasFilm which makes it rare and more desirable for collectors as time passes, as no more items from either of those two eras can be produced. Adding to its value it was autographed personally by the man behind the mask who played the original Boba Fett who was the guest celebrity Star Wars actor during Star Wars Weekends 2014 and a celebrity host for the entire event for Star Wars Weekends 2010. <Put this one on your shelf and you will be able to enjoy your investment in this beauty as it appreciates over the years. This is the limited edition of only 1977 sold out in 2014 it already became the most popular and sought after of all the Star Wars Disney mash up medium big figs and will be a classic and sought after items for all serious Disney, Star Wars, and Star Wars Weekends collectors. |
Donald Duck as Boba Fett Star Wars Weekends 2013 Medium Big Fig
These medium big figures which we first called "Medium Big Figs" in 2011 and now has caught on even at Disney. Disney Star Wars Weekends 2013 celebrated the release of "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" 30th anniversary and is the first SWW event following the Disney purchase of LucasFilms. The 2013 year's sculptures built on the previous year's successful collection of medium big figs with this exciting addition of Donald Duck as Boba Fett. This one has been the most popular and successful of these figures. And like the previous ones in this collection, includes a large limited edition pin in its base. We were able to obtain the autographed of the actor who played Boba Fett, Jeremy Bulloch on its base in silver.
Donald as Boba Fett
This character, Donald Duck as Boba Fett, was a concept originally created by Disney Artist Jason Zucker for the 2010 Star Wars Weekends when working at Disney Hollywood Studios Animation Gallery. He introduced this new character to the public with his hand drawn and colored illustration "Donald Duck as Boba Fett" in a very Limited Edition of only 30. That illustration was released May 21, 2010 in the original hand drawn figure, matted and framed which sold out the morning it was released. The following year Jason released a second version of "Donald as Boba Fett" which also sold out. With Donald's success playing Boba Fett it was time for this popular character to come in a 3-D version and Disney artist Costa Alavezos complied and got it into production just in time for the Star Wars Weekends 2013. This one no one will want to be without in their fig collection. Its also available without autograph by clicking on the link for it below.
